But the biggest draw is undoubtedly the pizza.

Pizzetta’s solo 8-inch classic pizzas cost just ₱99 each. That’s not a slice or a frozen pizza reheated in an oven. These are freshly made Neapolitan-style pizzas with lightly charred crusts, airy dough, and generous toppings.

For diners looking for something more indulgent, Pizzetta also offers premium pizzas such as the Samurai for only ₱149. And if you’re dining with family or friends, the restaurant serves 14-inch family-sized pizzas designed for sharing.

During our visit, we tried the Creamy Spinach and Chicken Masala pizzas. At first glance, the prices felt almost impossible in today’s economy, so I expected some compromise somewhere along the way — maybe the crust would be too dry or the toppings too sparse.

Instead, the pizzas delivered exactly what you’d want from a good Neapolitan-style pie.

The crust had a pleasant smokiness and chew, while the cheese tasted rich without feeling overly heavy. The toppings complemented rather than overwhelmed the dough, allowing the quality of the pizza itself to shine through.

While pizza remains the star of the menu, there are plenty of other options worth exploring.

Pizzetta recently expanded its offerings to include solo salads such as Caesar Salad and Kani Salad. The restaurant also serves solo pasta dishes, including Lasagna, Alfredo with Ham and Mushroom, and Spaghetti a la Pizzetta.

My friend opted for the Alfredo with Ham and Mushroom during our visit—a creamy pasta dish topped with ham, mushrooms, and a generous dusting of cheese. Together with the pizzas, it showcased how Pizzetta has expanded its menu beyond its signature pies, giving diners more options whether they’re dining solo or sharing a meal with friends.

Like many of Poblacion’s best discoveries, it doesn’t rely on flashy interiors or viral gimmicks. Instead, it focuses on serving food that tastes good and remains accessible. In a dining scene increasingly dominated by premium concepts and rising prices, there’s something refreshing about a place that offers genuine value without sacrificing quality.

The good news for pizza lovers is that Pizzetta isn’t staying exclusive to Makati for long. The brand is preparing to open a branch in Antipolo, bringing its affordable Neapolitan-style pizzas to even more diners.

In a city constantly chasing the next big food trend, Pizzetta proves there’s still room for something simple: good pizza, reasonable prices, and a place you’ll want to return to.
