For Season 6 of Only Murders in the Building, the unlikely team of true-crime enthusiasts crosses the Atlantic and heads to London, where their latest mystery promises a distinctly British twist.
Disney+ has unveiled first-look images from the upcoming season of the Emmy®-winning comedy series, which premieres December 8 on Disney+ Philippines.
From New York murder mysteries to London intrigue
After once again finding themselves at the center of a murder investigation, Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) face a case that takes them far beyond their usual New York City surroundings.

Their latest victim, Cinda Canning, turns up at their doorstep — and her death sends the trio to London in search of the person responsible.
For three amateur sleuths who have built their reputation investigating murders in their own backyard, London presents an entirely new playing field.
The city also brings them closer to the roots of the classic murder mystery, with the trio encountering a new collection of suspicious, and unmistakably English, characters along the way.
As Charles, Oliver and Mabel follow the trail left behind by Cinda — the woman whose podcast helped inspire their own — they must piece together the clues before the investigation turns them into the next chapter of the story.
A new city, familiar chemistry
While the setting may be changing, the series’ central trio remains intact.
Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez return as Charles-Haden Savage, Oliver Putnam and Mabel Mora, respectively, bringing back the oddball chemistry that has become one of the show’s biggest draws.
Season 6 also features an impressive lineup of guest stars, including Tina Fey, Olivia Colman, Meryl Streep, David Tennant, Nicola Coughlan, and Martin Freeman, among others.
Their presence adds another layer of intrigue to a season already moving into new territory.
A London backdrop for the next mystery

Part of the appeal of Only Murders in the Building has always been the way it blends murder mystery with comedy, character-driven storytelling, and a healthy dose of pop culture.
Moving the story to London opens up a fresh setting while allowing the series to play with the traditions of the classic British whodunit.
The question, of course, is whether Charles, Oliver, and Mabel can crack the case before the case cracks them.
Only Murders in the Building was co-created and written by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, known for Grace & Frankie and Looking.
Season 6 is executive produced by Hoffman, Martin, Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith, Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan.
