At the forefront of HP’s business lineup is the new Elitebook X G2i, a set of AI-ready notebooks built for enterprise users working in fast-paced, hybrid environments.

HP is positioning the device under the tagline “Light without limits,” with the laptop weighing under 1 kilogram despite its flagship positioning. The design focuses on portability without sacrificing performance, with configurations featuring OLED display options aimed at improving visibility in both indoor and outdoor settings.

The EliteBook X G2i will be available in clamshell and convertible (flip) form factors, with multiple color options expected at launch.

Under the hood, HP is emphasizing three pillars: AI-ready performance for future workloads, improved efficiency for all-day use, and built-in security for enterprise environments.

Hardware upgrades include a 33% larger haptic touchpad, a redesigned keyboard, and improved serviceability compared to previous generations. The device also supports 5G connectivity, targeting professionals who frequently work on the move.

The convertible model comes bundled with a stylus that is stored within the device itself. HP says the pen can deliver up to two hours of use on a 30-second charge and includes tracking features to help prevent loss. It can also be used for gesture-based controls and productivity tasks.

One of the more unconventional launches at the event was the EliteBoard G1a, a compact PC built entirely into a keyboard form factor.

HP describes it as the first “keyboard PC” in its category, designed for users who prioritize portability and minimal desk setups. Despite its size, the device integrates all core computing components within the keyboard chassis.

The EliteBoard G1a is powered by an AMD Ryzen PRO AI 300 series processor, delivering up to 50 TOPS of local AI compute performance. It also features integrated Radeon 860M graphics built on RDNA 3.5 architecture, aimed at handling AI-driven workloads and everyday productivity tasks.

For the broader consumer market, HP introduced updates to its Omnibook series, ranging from entry-level models to higher-end devices under the Omnibook Ultra branding.

The refreshed lineup is designed to cover a wide spectrum of users, from students and professionals to content creators. Depending on the model, devices are powered by Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI processors.

HP says the new generation of Omnibooks is built with AI-assisted productivity features, including automation tools for content creation and multitasking.

Battery capacities go up to 70Wh, with claimed usage of up to 22.75 hours depending on configuration. The devices also ship with compact 65W USB-C chargers designed for portability.

Select models offer both clamshell and convertible form factors and are built to MIL-STD 810H durability standards, positioning them for everyday resilience.

Gaming also took center stage with HP’s HyperX brand, which was acquired in 2021 and now sits under the company’s broader gaming portfolio alongside OMEN and Victus.

The highlight launch was the HyperX OMEN 15, a mid-tier gaming laptop positioned between the OMEN 14 and OMEN 16.

The device features OMEN Tempest Cooling Pro, designed to manage heat during intensive gaming sessions. Configurations can go up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Mobile GPU and Intel Core i9-class processors, depending on setup.

HP also highlighted an “Unleashed Mode” that allows users to manually push performance limits for demanding games, with power draw reaching up to 300W and supported by a 460W GaN charger.

On the software side, HP introduced OMEN AI, a system designed to optimize performance settings automatically. The tool currently supports a limited number of games, with broader compatibility expected in future updates.

According to HP, the new models offer faster print and scan speeds, reduced first-page output time, and a more compact design compared to previous generations. The printers also feature an updated user interface and deeper integration of HP’s AI capabilities.

Security remains a key focus, with HP Wolf Security embedded into the new printer lineup. The company also highlighted forward-looking protections designed to defend against emerging threats, including potential quantum-era attacks.

For enterprise customers, HP introduced the LaserJet Enterprise 5000 and 6000 monochrome series, aimed at high-volume business environments.
