Picture this: You step into your favorite neighborhood cafe in Poblacion or Cebu, order a signature iced matcha, and scan a QR code on the cup. Instead of taking you to a plain menu, it opens a customized playlist curated by a local indie band, offers a discount code for an eco-friendly clothing brand, and lets you tap your phone to pay instantly via your preferred e-wallet.
That seamless, delightful interaction isn’t just luck — it is the modern marketing ecosystem in action. In a world where consumers jump across social feeds, streaming platforms, and physical storefronts in seconds, standing alone is no longer an option for brands.
Recognizing that the best digital experiences happen when technology, creativity, and community intersect, the Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP) has unveiled its vision for DigiCon 2026.
Scheduled for October 15–16, 2026, at the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel, the country’s premier digital marketing conference is centering its upcoming edition on a theme that touches every part of modern culture: “Interoperability: Welcome to the Age of Collaboration.”
Heavyweight keynotes taking the stage

To unpack how unexpected connections drive real innovation, DigiCon 2026 is bringing a lineup of global thought leaders to Manila.
Leading the charge is Professor Dr. Christian Busch, bestselling author of Connect the Dots and professor at both the University of Southern California and the London School of Economics.
Dr. Busch specializes in the science of serendipity — showing organizations how to turn random encounters, cross-industry conversations, and unexpected moments into lasting competitive advantages.
Joining him is Judy John, Global Chief Creative Officer at Edelman. As one of the world’s most celebrated creative directors, John will share insights on how brands can navigate an increasingly interconnected world by breaking down traditional creative silos and thinking across disciplines.
Three conversation tracks built for real impact

The conference unveiled DigiCon 2026’s tracks, with Track Leads Gino Nacianceno (Innovation), Jordan Santos (Impact), and Denise Haak (Immersive), alongside DigiConX Co-Director Nikki Sunga, sharing the conversations shaping this year’s program.
Rather than sticking to standard lectures, DigiCon 2026 structures its main program around three interactive tracks led by prominent local industry figures:
- Innovation (Led by Gino Nacianceno): Moving beyond the endless hype surrounding artificial intelligence to look at practical, human-centric tools that add real value to daily business operations.
- Impact (Led by Jordan Santos): Exploring purpose-driven work and showing how brands can create authentic campaigns that genuinely uplift communities and drive societal good.
- Immersive (Led by Denise Haak): Focusing on the intersection of tech and storytelling—showing how interactive activations, cross-sector partnerships, and emerging media can build memorable consumer journeys.
Complemented by discussions panel-moderated by DMAP Director for Publicity Mori Rodriguez, alongside DigiConX Co-Director Nikki Sunga, the conference will pair its main stage sessions with hands-on workshops, creative networking hubs, and interactive brand activations.
Taking the conversation nationwide with DigiConX

Digital creativity isn’t confined to Metro Manila — and DigiCon 2026 is ensuring the entire country is part of the story.
Through a major initiative called DigiConX, DMAP is taking the conference nationwide with satellite pop-ups, learning sessions, and collaborative panels across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
By partnering directly with regional universities, local creative hubs, and provincial business organizations, DigiConX aims to give regional entrepreneurs, students, and creators direct access to industry insights.
Building the future, together

DigiCon 2026 officials (L to R:) Denise Haak, Avron Fernandez, Gino Nacianceno, Alan Fontanilla, Dale Lopez, Kit Ramos Disini, Raymund Sison, Jordan Santos, Mori Rodriguez, and Rey Tiempo.
For Philippine businesses navigating changing platforms and evolving consumer habits, the overarching message of DigiCon 2026 is simple: the future belongs to those who build together.
“The pace of change in marketing has never been faster, and no one organization has all the answers,” explained Kit Ramos Disini, DMAP Vice President for Internal Affairs and Board Trustee. “DigiCon aims to create a space where different parts of the marketing ecosystem can learn from one another and help shape the industry’s future.”
DigiCon 2026 Co-Chair Raymund Sison echoed the sentiment, emphasizing that the conference itself is being built as a live model of collaboration. “We’re building a conference that reflects the collaborative future we’re asking the industry to embrace,” Sison shared.
As DMAP prepares to reveal more speakers, regional partnerships, and experiential activations in the months leading up to October, one thing is clear: when brands, creators, and communities collaborate, everyone wins.
