When Organon launched globally in 2021, it set out with a distinct and challenging mandate: to build a healthcare company focused on addressing medical needs that uniquely, disproportionately, or differently affect women.

Five years later, the company is marking a milestone defined not just by the passage of time, but by measurable impact, global reach, and a corporate culture rooted in community.

Today, Organon‘s footprint spans more than 140 markets, delivering a diverse portfolio of over 70 medicines and products. While its core identity remains deeply tied to its Women’s Health franchise, its General Medicines portfolio has grown to address a broad range of critical therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular disease, migraines, dermatology, respiratory conditions, and autoimmune diseases.

For Organon, expanding access to these treatments is about more than just supply chains—it is about societal progress.

“At the heart of Organon is a simple but powerful belief: that women’s health deserves greater attention, investment, and action,” says Emmanuel Tiglao, Country Manager of Organon Philippines. “As we celebrate this milestone, we are proud of the progress made in expanding access, advancing education, and helping more women take charge of their health. When women’s health is prioritized, families, communities, and entire societies benefit.”

Over the last half-decade, that philosophy has translated into significant numbers.

Through its Her Promise Access Initiative, Organon has helped prevent approximately 87 million unintended pregnancies worldwide. The program has provided more than 72 million women and girls in low- and middle-income countries with affordable access to vital contraceptive options.

Beyond providing physical treatments, the company has actively collaborated with healthcare professionals, advocates, governments, and community organizations to systematically dismantle the barriers that prevent patients from receiving timely care.

A large part of this effort includes sustained investments in educational initiatives designed to raise public awareness and combat widespread medical misinformation.

A culture of belonging

What makes Organon’s fifth anniversary particularly unique is how it aligns with the company’s internal values. Celebrating concurrently with Pride Month, the global team came together under the theme “We All Belong.”

Throughout June, employees participated in a series of collaborative activities designed to foster allyship, strengthen diversity, and encourage open dialogue. For Organon, driving meaningful progress in global healthcare requires cultivating an internal culture where diverse perspectives are valued, and everyone feels empowered to contribute.

“Over the past five years, collaboration and innovation have enabled us to expand access, strengthen partnerships, and support communities,” Tiglao added. “These efforts reflect our commitment to helping people access the information, medicines, and solutions they need to live healthier lives.”

Looking forward, Organon has no intention of slowing down. Beyond expanding its current portfolio of medicines, the company is deepening its investments in educational campaigns to dismantle health misinformation and permanently lower the barriers to timely care.

To ensure the next five years are even more scalable and impactful for everyday patients, Organon is continuously leaning into operational and technological innovation.

By focusing on data-driven insights and streamlined healthcare solutions, the company aims to deliver highly localized support that directly addresses the evolving needs of the communities it serves.

Ultimately, as Organon celebrates this five-year milestone, its journey serves as a powerful reminder for the broader corporate world: the most effective way to build a healthier, more sustainable tomorrow is to ensure that everyone has a seat at the table today.
