For many households, getting home internet still means waiting days — or even weeks — for fiber installation. Smart Communications wants to change that by making its Smart Home WiFi Postpaid service available in more than 100 Smart Stores across the Philippines.
The expanded rollout lets customers walk into a participating Smart Store, check if their area has 5G coverage, sign up for a plan, and take home a ready-to-use WiFi modem on the same day.
Unlike traditional broadband connections that require technicians and cable installations, Smart Home WiFi Postpaid works as a plug-and-play device, making it an attractive option for renters, students, young families, and professionals working from home.
Smart says the expansion now covers over 1.3 million households in around 3,200 barangays spanning North Luzon, Central Luzon, South Luzon, Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
“We want to be more than just a service provider; we aim to be a dependable partner in our subscribers’ journey toward their goals,” said Marjorie Garrovillo, First Vice President and Co-OIC at Smart.

The service comes in two plans designed for different household needs.
Home Plan 1499 includes unlimited 5G data and a free modem that can connect multiple devices simultaneously — ideal for homes where several family members are online at once.
For lighter internet users, Home Plan 999 offers 200GB of monthly 5G data, an extra 2GB daily allocation, data rollover for unused monthly data, and a one-time modem fee of ₱995.
Both plans include Smart Perks and GigaPoints rewards, while subscribers can purchase additional data whenever needed through the Smart App or Smart Online Store.
Before subscribing, customers can verify if their address is covered by checking for a 5G signal on their Smart phone and using Smart’s online 5G coverage checker.
To provide extra peace of mind, Smart also includes a 30-day money-back guarantee, allowing customers to return the modem if 5G service isn’t available at their location.

New subscribers can enjoy 50% off their monthly fees for the first four months.
Under the promo, Home Plan 999 costs just ₱499.50 per month, while Home Plan 1499 is available for ₱749.50 per month during the introductory period.
