P.A. Properties (P.A. Alvarez Properties and Development Corp.) marks its 30th anniversary this year with a celebration not just of its achievements in building homes but more so the inspiring stories of the people whose lives have been transformed by home ownership.
P.A. Properties’ homebuyers: Dreams realized
At P.A. Properties, homebuyers have found more than just a house — they’ve discovered spaces to build their futures. One such story is that of Maila Damyong, a 31-year-old HR Supervisor, and her boyfriend.
Maila recounts their journey: “I have been residing at St. Joseph Village in San Pedro, Laguna. Preparing for the future, my boyfriend and I decided to look for a house before getting married.”
After months of searching, they discovered a property in St. Joseph Homes Calamba. “The first time we visited the property and heard the agent’s promotional offer, we immediately decided to purchase the house on the same day,” Maila recalls.
The decision was made easier by the smooth transaction process and the village’s excellent location. “I am very much happy with our new home. I’m rating it a 10 out of 10,” she says. “The village is very accessible to everywhere!”
The sellers and brokers: Journeys of shared success
For sellers and brokers, partnering with the Laguna-based P.A. Properties has been a rewarding journey of shared success.
Victor B. Bayais Jr., Managing Director at Granwood Sales Division and a licensed broker, reflects on his 19-year career: “Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) have been a significant part of my career. They not only provide financial support but also aspire to buy a home for their families.”
Victor emphasizes the dedication of OFWs to investing in Philippine real estate.
“This experience in my job made me realize that OFWs investing in Philippine real estate is a truly rewarding decision. They work hard and save diligently to fulfil their dream of owning a home,” he says.
“Even while adapting to new cultures abroad, our OFWs never give up on their goal of securing a home for their families. Their resilience and determination are truly heartwarming,” he further stated.
After all, investing in real estate holds profound significance for overseas Filipinos, bridging geographical distances and providing a tangible connection to their homeland. Beyond property ownership, it also represents a haven where their dreams can flourish — a testament to their hard work and perseverance.
The employees: Growth and fulfilment
For employees, P.A. Properties has been a source of professional and personal growth.
Thess Amante, Lead – Accounting, has been with the company for an impressive 28 years. She reflects on her journey: “This nurturing environment allowed me to develop my skills and recognize my strengths, leading to significant personal and professional growth.”
“I greatly value P.A. Properties for its family-oriented culture, which promotes a supportive and inclusive environment. This focus on family dynamics and work-life balance enhances the workplace experience and aligns with my values, fostering belonging and support,” she added.
Thess started working with P.A. Properties while still an undergraduate studying Accountancy. With the company’s support, she was able to balance her job and her education, eventually earning her degree in 2017. Her job has also enabled her to provide education for her three children and secure her own family’s home—a true reflection of P.A. Properties’ mission to help families thrive.
