Aurora Gaming, a prominent Serbian esports company, has announced its official launch in the Philippines this July 2024 through its social media platforms.
The organization’s expansion is highlighted by the inclusion of the celebrated esports duo OHMYV33NUS and WISE, also known as V33Wise, who are renowned throughout Southeast Asia for their multiple championship victories.
This reveal coincided with an announcement from the globally recognized video game publisher Moonton, welcoming Aurora to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Season 14 in the Philippines (MPL-PH S14).
“Aurora Gaming is excited to harness the incredible potential of MLBB as an esports discipline. We eagerly anticipate our roster showcasing their skills under the Aurora banner,” the company said in a press release.
Aurora Gaming: A significant player in esports arena
Founded in August 2022, Aurora Gaming has rapidly established itself as a significant player in the esports arena.
With headquarters in Belgrade, Serbia, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Aurora boasts an impressive array of teams across various regions and game titles. In the CIS region, Aurora’s teams compete in CS2, Apex Legends, CS2 Academy, and Warcraft. The launch of Aurora’s Dota 2 team in November 2023, featuring top regional players, marked a crucial milestone in the company’s expansion into the Southeast Asian esports scene.
The latest chapter in Aurora Gaming’s growth is the establishment of its MLBB team based in Metro Manila, Philippines. The team was unveiled during a spectacular launch event on July 27, 2024, at PARQAL Aseana City, Parañaque, attended by thousands of fans. The event included a short film that served as the official roster reveal for the team.

Additionally, V33Wise has taken on new roles within Aurora Gaming. Jonmar “OHMYV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie James “WISE” Del Rosario will serve as Esports & Gaming Content Directors.
In their roles, OHMYV33NUS and WISE will collaborate closely with Aurora’s integrated marketing and creative teams to develop compelling narratives that transcend typical influencer marketing and ambassadorship. The duo is instrumental in ensuring that Aurora’s brand remains bold, authentic, and innovative, leveraging their extensive experience as esports professionals.
