inDrive’s partner drivers can now enjoy exclusive discounts and services from Toyota and RideSecure
inDrive believes that road accidents are caused by multiple factors, including the use of unsafe vehicles.
To promote the safety of its drivers and passengers on the road, the global ride-hailing app has recently partnered with Toyota Quezon Avenue branch and RideSecure Insurance Service Corporation to provide drivers with comprehensive insurance coverage, basic troubleshooting training sessions, and preventive maintenance promo packages.
This update also comes a few weeks after the ride-hailing app announced its resumption of local operations and a partnership with local transport group Laban TNVS — a testament to the ride-hailing company’s commitment to putting Filipino drivers and passengers’ interests at the forefront of its services.
“inDrive is committed to providing the best transportation services to its passengers. To achieve that goal, we must first ensure our partner drivers are driving safe vehicles,” said Afanasii Petrov, inDrive’s Business Development Manager for Southeast Asia Macroregion, APAC. “We believe that securing our partnerships with Toyota and RideSecure is the first step in achieving that goal.”
Safer roads with inDrive and Toyota Quezon Avenue Branch
The ride-hailing app teamed up with the Quezon Avenue branch of Toyota, one of the top global automakers and a hallmark of reliability and efficiency in the car manufacturing industry. The partnership between two major players in the transportation industry is the first step in the company’s goal to keep its partner drivers and passengers safe on the road.
inDrive’s partnership with the Toyota Quezon Avenue branch will ensure that their drivers drive units that are in tip-top shape.
Here, inDrive’s partner drivers who purchase their units from the branch may avail of Toyota’s FREE 21 points check-up and Preventative Maintenance Service (PMS) promo packages for as low as Php 2,100 for the first 1,000 KM for Vios, Avanza, Veloz and Rush units and as low as Php 3,100 for the first 1,000 KM for Innova.
The exclusive PMS discount is applicable for up to 10,000 KM per unit on top of the FREE car wash and other discounted repair rates. To ensure its partner drivers are always ready to hit the road, inDrive and Toyota’s partnership will also roll out FREE quarterly training on basic vehicle troubleshooting.
“The best way to have safer roads is to equip drivers with basic troubleshooting knowledge and promote preventive car care,” James Sy, Group Retail Manager of Toyota Quezon Avenue Branch said. “We’re proud that our decision to collaborate with inDrive on the matter has given us the platform to reach out to the TNVS community and promote safer roads for everyone.”
An Extensive Safety Coverage for Partner Drivers
inDrive secured a one-year partnership with RideSecure Insurance Service Corporation, the leading insurance provider in the Transportation Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) community, to provide its drivers with comprehensive insurance coverage as it resumes its operations in the Philippines.
Aligned with inDrive’s policy to prioritize its users’ welfare at all times, RideSecure offers an insurance package for inDrive’s drivers that is 10%-16% cheaper compared to the market rate.
On top of FREE Personal Accident coverage with 10% medical reimbursement, the insurance will also include Own Damage, Theft, Acts of Nature protection, and Compulsory Third-Party Liability coverage.
Through its partnership with inDrive, RideSecure implemented a flexible payment scheme. Partner drivers can enjoy a five-month instalment basis through post-dated cheques, bank deposits, or GCash. inDrive and RideSecure will also conduct training sessions related to insurance and safety to equip its partner drivers with the right mindset and road conduct.
The ride-hailing app’s partner drivers may inquire at its office or through an accredited RideSecure agent to avail of the partnership’s package.
“Expenses caused by unforeseen accidents should be the least concern of our drivers when they’re on the road and we are glad that this partnership with inDrive realizes this goal,” said Ronald Margallo, CEO of RideSecure Insurance Service Corporation. “We look forward to helping more partner drivers from here forward.”
Earlier this year, the global ride-hailing app heeded the call of the times to organize a flood assistance program for its partner drivers and local community outreach after Super Typhoon Carina wreaked havoc in the country, affecting the lives of at least 1.3 million Filipinos.
Since resuming local operations last June 2024, inDrive has been holding an open house recruitment for partner drivers. Interested drivers may apply at its office on the 2nd Floor, Caswynn Building, 134 Timog Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City or visit inDrive’s official website and official Facebook page for more details.
